DIYAT: Coroplast Double Capacitive Switch

coroplast fabricated capacitive double switch

This project provides beginner-friendly instructions on how to build a double capacitive switch using Adafruit's low-cost ($7) Trinket M0 board. The board features 3 capacitive pins, 2 of which are used to create a no-pressure double switch device to allow for switch scanning on a computer or mobile device. The Maker Makecode IDE is used to support block-based coding of the board for those new to physical computing. Additionally, this project does not require access to a 3D printer and can be fabricated using commonly accessible supplies.
